About Us

Hi my name is Rod Williams. I have been fishing over 40 years.  My friends call me the fishing guru.  They come to me with their questions or problems regarding their fishing techniques and I am always glad I can help.

My father was a master fisherman and would take us kids fishing with him on his fishing trips.  He began these trips with us at a very young age.  I have a picture of us, me at about 9 months of age, sitting on his shoulders as he fished. Then as I began to walk he put that small rod right in my hand and we all fished side by side.  What a way to spend time as a family. This is how I began enjoying fishing and begun to love to teach others the same.

My father passed on at an early age so I did not have my fishing mentor to help me with some fishing problems. One of the problems was I kept losing a lot of fish and could not understand why. I spent the last 3-4 years going around interviewing some of the top fishing guides, and recieved a lot of great information.  It was then I realize that my knots weren’t always the best.  Knowing this I knew I probably was not alone so decided to do something about it. This is part of my story of why I did an eBook and it is also how this website originally was created.

It has been a long dream of mine to create something that would help others.
